Creatures of Havoc in the Riverland

Country Arts SA’s ‘This Is A River’ initiative is as mighty as its Murray namesake. Whilst things change in a heartbeat in our national capital we’ve had the good fortune of creating a long term work for this program and now it’s on! We’re part of the ‘This Is A River’  spread of art events this September that see us out in surreal Riverland locations in wild weather around Berri and Renmark, street paparazzi photo frenzies, Field Days with thousands, and a gallery interactive installation titled ‘River Rites’. We’ve worked with clever artists, wonderful performers and fabulous Primary Producers and now the show is up and rolling! In case you’re not in the region check out our Facebook page for some photos of our ‘creatures of havoc’ that link the vicissitudes of the seasons and the river to resilience.

If you’re in the area, the incursion of our ‘creatures of havoc’ into the River Lands Gallery is:
Friday 25th September at 6pm and  the installations will be up until October 3rd.

We’d love to have you with us as we run amok in the Riverland.
