Temporary Art Gallery (TAG) is a pop-up gallery like no other that will create a vibrant space in Waikerie, showing that art and culture can contribute to the energy of the main streets.
Everyone from young and old is invited to contribute/lend/loan something of value to them that will be displayed as cultural objects and art works within a disused shop turned pop-up gallery in Waikerie.
You might not realise it, but there is art all around you. You may even have made some it yourself. And now you have the opportunity to exhibit it in a new gallery space in Waikerie.

Artists Paul Gazzola and Nadia Cusimano will be setting up Temporary Art Gallery at 32 McCoy Street, Waikerie from 10am to 6pm Wednesday to Sunday from October 18.
The Riverland community is invited to view the works on display as well as contribute from October 18 to November 16 2014.
“TAG is not a junk or second hand shop, but a carefully curated space that seeks to reveal the community’s unique values, interests and personal cultural perspectives,” Paul said.
Personal memorabilia, photos, films, handmade objects, wacky farm machinery, an old gate, a brick, trinkets, glasses and more are all objects that will be gratefully accepted and sought. A series of short video interviews of the stories that accompany the objects will be made and displayed alongside the art works.
NB: You can choose to lend your items or donate them. An auction will be held on November 15, 2pm, for all the donated goods (that people are happy to sell) with all proceeds going to a local charity. There will be a viewing night with drinks on Friday November 14 from 5pm-7pm.
